1. Learn a new hobby as a family
This would be an excellent hobby not only for you but for your kids as well! You can make this a fun family time activity to do together. It can help inspire their creativity, make for some great quality family time (without screen time or electronics), and teaches your kids a new skill in the process.
You can hang up the main page as inspiration on how to get from point A (blank picture) to the last step, and print as many copies as you need for yourself and each of your kids. Even your toddlers can doodle along with you all.
Once you and your kids have finished drawing this, you can go to this next step…
2. Make your own coloring pages
After you have drawn these together, go ahead and color them in! This is a great activity for kids and adults too – you can use crayons, colored pencils, markers, or if you are feeling a little fancy, grab some watercolors or paint. Our favorites to use is anything Tombow Dual Brush Pens.
If your kiddos aren’t with you and you want to prepare a coloring activity for them, you can practice multiple times and create your own coloring pages for them!
3. Use for crafts and cards
Once you have these drawn and colored in, you can cut them out and use them to decorate cards, make crafts, anything! You can also simply hang them up on your fridge, frame them on a tabletop, or put them somewhere in your home to display your hard work.
These how to draw tutorials are made to be fun for you and your family to do and teach you a new skill in the process! I hope you enjoy them as much as we do! 🙂
