Favorite Quotes To Live By Free Printable Wall Art
Sometimes trying to prove you are the best is an insult.
I saw a picture one time that said a cheetah would never be put in a pin and race with horses. The reason is because the cheetah has nothing to prove. It knows it’s faster than a horse. There’s no reason to compete.
That picture really got to me. It really indented my SOUL.
When I read it, at the time, I realized that I was trying to prove my authority in my blog. Trying to prove I was an expert. Trying to show everyone I know what I’m talking about and I was racing against myself.
It really changed the way I looked at things because I realized that I was insulting myself.
Whether people think I’m an expert or not, it doesn’t really matter. I know that the things I teach on, I AM!
All the sudden, I stopped. I stopped trying to compete. Trying to run. Trying to race. Trying to prove myself. Because I know that I’m the cheetah. And I don’t have to prove that. Yeah, if someone asks you something, always be willing to answer, but we don’t have to go around focusing so much on trying to prove we know what we’re talking about.
Just talk and let them decide if they wanna listen!
But whether they listen to you or not, doesn’t mean you’re an expert or not. If no one listens, it doesn’t mean you’re not an expert. It means they can’t see it. In your heart, you know the truth. Just stay focused on your truth and what you know, serving others, and whatever they think won’t matter. You are a cheetah, regardless.
So when I saw this quote, it hit home again and I knew I had to share it. 🙂

I remember going through my ex-husband leaving me and the kids.
It was such a difficult time in my life and I remember asking my friend, Sandi, WHY God would allow this to happen to me.
She said, “Maybe in a few years, you’ll meet someone going through the same thing and be an inspiration to them.”
That always stuck with me. It was something that truly gave me peace and I could get through the trial because I could hold onto that nugget. In my heart, instantly, I knew God would use me in that way.
Looking back I see she was absolutely RIGHT!
Now, God uses me to inspire MANY people. People who don’t have a lot of money. Maybe they’re in debt. People who’ve lost their husband. People who want to work from home but their family’s and friends laugh at them, as mine did.
All those things I went through, only help me to serve YOU better. And I’m thankful. If I had to go through all that to help you, I’m glad. Because I truly love to serve. <3 That quote is SOOO true.

The best apology is changed behavior.
This is SO true. After my ex-husband cheated on me, he said he was sorry, and I forgave him and let him back into my life.
But his actions didn’t change. Nothing ever changed and he just continued to do bad things (have affairs).
I learned a valuable lesson through that. The only way to know if someone is REALLY sorry, is to see CHANGED behavior.
Yes, we should still forgive people whether they change (or say they’re sorry) or not, but that does NOT mean, we have to let them back in our lives to do it again, UNLESS we see things are DIFFERENT!!!

Personally, I really VALUE a man who is willing to work hard for his dreams, not just taking whatever life hands us, so this quote is really awesome. A lazy man is not someone I want to even be around!

The devil wouldn’t be attacking you so hard if there wasn’t something valuable inside of you. Thieves don’t break into empty houses.
Oh have I found myself in this situation. Some trials are so attacked by Satan and his demons because they glorify God in a way that are truly monumental. It seems like he always goes after the big things and once he’s sifted you, you feel like a puddle on the ground.
It’s important to remember that Satan doesn’t go after the lukewarm, fuzzy-feeling Christians. He goes after the ones knocking down bricks and taking names.
You become valuable to God and to the world and he’s after you. But take heart, because Christ is right by your side, always there to strengthen and encourage you! <3

You’re hoping I fall down. I’m praying you get on your feet. We are not the same.
I really like this quote. I know that some friends, yes friends, secretly hope I fall down. I can see it. I can feel it. They try to cover it, but they are jealous and I can see through it. I try to keep away from people like that. But it’s not just friends, the WORLD wants you to fall down too.
Sometimes people just get so jealous. They think if YOU fall down, it makes them rise higher.
The truth is that, if you rise higher, so do I, and it’s something I always try to remember. I’m praying that people succeed. I coach and mentor and serve and help because I truly want people to succeed. I want to see their dreams come true. I want to see more workers for the kingdom of Christ, showing that we can do THIS!
We can help others, make money for our family’s, and keep God’s light shining bright in a dark world.

We’re all brave in our own way. For example, I am not afraid of raw cookie dough.
This is just funny. You know, it was only a few months ago, that I was reading the label of cookie dough, I don’t even know why, but it said, “Not edible without baking.”
I thought, “HUH?!” I still don’t get it. Why can’t we eat raw cookie dough?
I guess that all these years, almost 40 now, I’ve been completely wrong. We’re not supposed to eat it raw. Well. I’m not dead, so I guess it’s not TOO bad. LOL.
